Location: New Town, TAS.

Sacred Heart College is seeking an enthusiastic, collaborative and innovative Teacher Librarian. The successful applicant will be an engaging educator and information specialist, committed to creating a welcoming and dynamic learning environment that supports the academic, spiritual, and personal growth of all students. The role requires strong organisational and interpersonal skills, a commitment to contemporary library and information practices, and a willingness to contribute positively to the broader life of the College.

1.0 Full‑time equivalent (FTE). Commencement date: 10th August 2026.

Qualifications

• Committed to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education.
• Able to articulate a commitment to learning and teaching.
• Willing to participate fully in the life of the school.
• Have appropriate graduate and/or postgraduate qualifications.
• Be a registered Teacher in Tasmania or be able to gain registration prior to the commencement of the position.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2024.
