CloudFit is seeking a highly organized and people-focused Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support a fast-paced Talent Acquisition function in Lynchburg, VA. This opportunity is structured as an onsite 1099 contractor role with the potential to transition into a full-time employee position based on business needs, performance, and organizational alignment. This role plays a critical part in delivering a seamless candidate and hiring manager experience while supporting recruiting operations, scheduling, candidate communications, and internal hiring initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Recruiting Coordination & Scheduling Coordinate interviews across multiple teams and time zones Manage onsite and virtual interview logistics Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and interview teams to support an efficient interview process Prepare interview agendas, candidate packets, and related materials Maintain recruiting calendars and interview process flow Candidate Experience & Communications Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process Deliver a professional, responsive, and welcoming candidate experience Manage interview confirmations, follow‑ups, and status updates Coordinate candidate travel arrangements when applicable Recruiting Operations Maintain and update applicant tracking system (ATS) records and candidate data Support job posting management across recruiting platforms Monitor and manage the shared careers inbox, ensuring timely and professional candidate communication Assist with offer coordination, onboarding logistics, and pre‑employment activities Support recruiting metrics, reporting, and data processing efforts Maintain recruiting documentation, interview scorecards, and hiring materials Internal Referral Program & Talent Initiatives Manage and track internal employee referrals throughout the hiring lifecycle Support internal recruiting campaigns and referral initiatives Assist with recruiting events, career fairs, internship coordination, and employer branding efforts Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, People Operations, and Engineering teams on hiring initiatives and process improvements Qualifications 1–3 years of recruiting coordination, HR coordination, administrative, or related experience Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Excellent written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality Strong customer service and relationship‑building skills Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and calendar management tools Current Federal Security Clearance or ability to obtain; U.S. Citizenship required Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting technical or high‑volume recruiting environments Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), preferably JazzHR Experience with data entry, reporting, or recruiting analytics Familiarity with recruiting operations and candidate experience best practices Contract Engagement Details 1099 independent contractor opportunity Approximately 35–40 hours per week Contractor is responsible for individual taxes, insurance, and applicable business expenses No employer‑sponsored benefits provided during the contract period Opportunity for future full‑time conversion based on business needs and performance Contract Compensation $28–$36 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and operational alignment.
