Job Description – Systems Software Engineer IV – AI Automation & Agentic Systems Job Title: Systems Software Engineer IV – AI Automation & Agentic Systems Location: Hyderabad Employment Type: Contract Experience: 5–12 Years About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Software Engineer IV – AI Automation & Agentic Systems to design and build next-generation engineering automation and AI-powered productivity solutions. This role blends modern test automation, Generative AI, Agentic AI, workflow orchestration, and developer productivity engineering to accelerate software delivery and improve engineering efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automation engineering, Python development, and AI-driven application development , with hands-on experience in LLM-based systems, RAG architectures, and agentic workflows .
Key Responsibilities Automation Engineering Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for: UI Automation API Automation Workflow Validation System Validation Build and maintain robust automation frameworks using Python, Playwright, Selenium , and other automation technologies. Develop REST APIs and automation workflows to support engineering and validation processes. Integrate automation solutions into CI/CD pipelines and engineering ecosystems.
AI & Agentic Systems Design and build AI-assisted automation solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs). Develop engineering copilots and AI-powered productivity assistants. Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) based knowledge systems.
Build Agentic AI workflows using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph , or similar orchestration frameworks. Develop intelligent systems that automate repetitive engineering, validation, and operational tasks. Create evaluation frameworks to measure: AI agent performance Reliability Accuracy Hallucination reduction Collaboration & Innovation Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, and validation teams to identify automation opportunities.
Prototype and deliver innovative AI-driven solutions with minimal supervision. Drive continuous improvement in engineering productivity through intelligent automation. Required Skills Software Development & Automation Strong programming expertise in Python .
Hands-on experience with: Playwright Selenium UI and API Automation frameworks Experience in developing REST APIs and automation workflows. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills. AI & Generative AI Hands-on experience with: LangChain LangGraph Other Agentic AI frameworks Experience working with: OpenAI APIs Azure OpenAI Enterprise LLM platforms Strong understanding of: Prompt Engineering LLM-based application development AI orchestration and workflow automation DevOps & Cloud Experience with: Git Docker CI/CD pipelines AWS, Azure, or GCP Preferred Skills Experience designing and deploying Agentic AI systems .
Hands-on experience implementing RAG architectures . Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and tool-calling integrations. Knowledge of AI evaluation, monitoring, and observability frameworks.
Experience with vector databases such as: Pinecone Weaviate Chroma FAISS Experience with developer productivity tools and workflow automation. Exposure to Product Engineering, Engineering Automation, or Semiconductor environments is an added advantage. Ideal Candidate Profile 5–12 years of software engineering and automation experience.
Strong expertise in Python development . Hands-on experience with Playwright or Selenium automation frameworks. Practical experience with: LangChain LangGraph OpenAI APIs Agentic AI frameworks Good understanding of: RAG architectures Vector databases AI evaluation methodologies Experience integrating applications with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native environments.
