Responsibilities:
Support the annual sustainability reporting cycle, including preparation, validation, analysis, and review of key datasets.
Analyse and interpret data, and present in a clear and easy to understand format to inform business decisions and regulatory submissions.
Assess compliance against reporting requirements (e.g. Companies Act, TCFD, ISSB) and ensure alignment with internal reporting expectations.
Support the development and refinement of methodologies for new sustainability metrics required under the UK Sustainability Reporting Standards (UK SRS).
Contribute to the continuous improvement of data management practices, including the automation of sustainability data processes, and enhancing controls around sustainability data.
Support the adoption of AI capabilities for identified use-cases across reporting processes.nd timely reporting activities.
Act as the technical liaison with the external assurance provider’s data analytics team to facilitate efficient audit processes.
Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to design and maintain data architecture, including reference data management and data lineage for sustainability metrics.
Support effective oversight of data governance for sustainability reporting, ensuring adherence to data policies, standards, and risk management practices
Document and maintain data processes, ensuring transparency and auditability for sustainability and finance data.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and share knowledge with the team to enhance their skills and expertise.
• Conduct real-time and historical transaction monitoring and flag potentially suspicious transactions.
• Conduct level 1 transaction monitoring alert reviews and discounting.
• Manages conflicts that may impact delivery
• Challenges upwards given knowledge of delivery and awareness of complex systems and the broader picture
• Identifies and anticipates need for changes to continuously improve quality and efficiency of output
• Manages resources and risks using expert judgment, know-how and experience
