We are seeking experienced Supply Planners, to support the 638th Supply Chain Management Group (638 SCMG) at Robins AFB, Ga to ensure the efficient and effective distribution and sustainment of Air Force assets worldwide. The Supply Planner will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Integrated Product Team (IPT), and shall include the application of analytical methods, and techniques to resolve inventory management problems and issues; initial planning, provisioning and requirements determination; acquisition and sustainment, to include distribution, accountability, retention, and disposal. The SME shall accomplish SP tasks normally associated with assigned workload and provide assistance/guidance on logistics systems and processes related to their workload to other SP personnel in their assigned area.
The daily logistics systems and processes may include Stock Control System (D035A) wholesale supply, Secondary Item Requirement System (SIRS) D200A file maintenance, D043, D143C, Execution and Prioritization of Repair Support System (EXPRESS), Purchase Instruments, Purchase Request Process System (PRPS), Manager Review Codes, Suspended Assets, Reutilization Disposal System (Reclamation, Disposal, Excess, FES/FAS), foreign military sales, Basing & Logistics Analytical Data Environment (BLADE) formerly Logistics, Installations and Mission Support Enterprise View (LIMS-EV), deletion of obsolete National Stock Numbers (NSNs), and processing of provisioning documents.The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of supply chain principles, repair procedures, logistics processes, and Air Force budgetary systems to manage items, analyze data, and optimize asset distribution.Key ResponsibilitiesRequirements identification/development, item management, and requirements executionEvaluating program efficiencyValidate repair requirements, initiating and managing organic/contract arrangementsProcure items and maintain documentationOptimize global asset distribution based on customer needsAnalyze data to determine optimal demand planning methods.
