Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: TheSupply Chain Specialistwillbe responsible forworking collaboratively withthe Lab Manager,Pharmacists, and other departments as necessaryontimelyordering, receiving,maintainingdocumentation, andmaintainingstock levels for commercial products, chemicals, and other supplies needed for the pharmacy.This position will ensure order fulfillment with suppliers and negotiate pricing, shipping terms, and delivery schedules.All tasks and duties must be completed inaccordance and compliancewith HIPAA guidelines, State and Federal laws, and current company policies and procedures.Reporting StructureThis positionreportstothe Supply Chain Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesAssistin monitoring and managing material inventory in support of activities in the laboratory and pharmacy.Assistin analyzing the pharmacys demand requirements todeterminean appropriate safetystock for standard itemsProactively mitigate supplydisruptionbyaccuratelyassessingrisk,inventory levels, lead time, and cost.Assistin managing supplier performance by assessing quality, cost, and delivery timelines.Maintain positive working relationships with suppliers.Manage Supply Agreements(as applicable) withkeysuppliers.Assistinidentifyingalternate sources of supply to improve quality and cost and tomaintainsupply chain continuity.Negotiate pricingwhen applicable.Submit purchase orders andmaintaincomplete andaccuratepurchasing recordspercompanySOPs.Work collaboratively with warehouse personnel to receive all materials anddistributeto the necessary personnel.Maintainappropriate inventorylife cycle management by utilizing FEFO/FIFOmethodology.Assistin coordinating bulk chemical, pharmaceutical waste, and hazardous waste destruction activities.Participate in special projectsas assigned.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelors degree preferred.Minimum2-5years of procurement,purchasing,or planningexperienceis desired.Advanced skills in data analysis and trending using Microsoft Excel.Excellent motivation,drive tosucceed, andability to learn.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
