How you will make an impact: Seeking an Accounts Receivable Supervisor who will be responsible for the Accounts Receivable group.
In addition, they will find opportunities to optimize processes and eliminate process inefficiencies and redundancies. They will ensure there is documentation of workflow and work instructions of the process. Review policies and procedures to implement standard methodologies and improve internal control safeguards and SOX compliance. **What you will do:** u2022 This position has supervisory/administrative responsibility for development of staff members, including hiring, performance development and annual review, disciplinary actions, mentor and counseling, personal development and career advancement & succession planning u2022 Prepares and supervises all statistics and reporting and ensures timely and accurate compliance with schedules and metrics u2022 Provides daily interaction, training, direction and oversight of staff activities to ensure coordination, accuracy and timely delivery of work outputs u2022 Supervise team members to maximize success in achieving team goals for Cash targets, DSO and any other metrics u2022 Perform Accounts Receivables duties in line with the companyu2019s credit policies and procedures u2022 Work closely with key partners to drive proper revenue recognition by ensuring that transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with policies in the accurate accounting periods u2022 Review monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting packages u2022 Work cross-functionally with FP&A, Commercial and Customer Services teams to resolve any outstanding discrepancies on AR u2022 Participate in trainings to engage non-finance teams in finance related compliance and processes u2022 Assist in establishing and maintaining appropriate internal controls to ensure 100% SOX compliance u2022 Participate in various finance projects and initiatives to drive improvements in execution **How you will get here:** Requirements u2022 Bachelor''s Degree plus 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, credit, or collections u2022 Minimum of 2 years in team leadership roles Knowledge, Skills, Abilities u2022 Good knowledge in Microsoft Office suite, especially in MS Word and Excel, and in ERP systems (i.e.
SAP) u2022 Effective training skills and team building capabilities for rapid ramp-up of functional tasks within area of responsibility u2022 Shown leadership skills; strong oral and written communication, presentation and conflict resolution u2022 Experience leading continuous process improvement projects leading to significant time or bottom line savings u2022 Effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to work with all levels of management, tailoring message appropriately for recipients u2022 Ability to develop professional relationships with peers and upper management u2022 Demonstrate basic visualization communication methods for leaders u2022 Communicate analysis and recommendations in concise informative manner u2022 Demonstrate an understanding of the flow of information and materials through the organization u2022 Takes advantage of opportunities to learn about business strategy and goals through business relationships u2022 Questions status quo and looks for opportunities for improvement Travel Requirements u2022 Less than 10% **Compensation** The estimated annualized pay range for this position in Ontario is $69,400.00u2013$104,000.00.
