The Work: The Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems Software Engineer will have the opportunity to perform real-time processing software development in support of our product lines. Additionally, you will be working as part of an Agile team with domain experts from Hardware, Software, Subsystems and Systems Engineering to understand requirements, establish architecture/design, implement sound solutions, develop unit tests, and support integration and sustainment activities.
This position requires a U.S. DoD Security Clearance at the SECRET level. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Security and Clearances: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical discipline with a concentration in computer science courses
- Minimum of 2 years C++ software development experience
- Experience with Object Oriented C++ programming
- Experience with automated test tools and techniques, static code analysis, and embedded applications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance at the SECRET level. U.S. Citizenship required
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Software Modeling (UML) and architecture
- Experience developing software requirements and design
- Understanding and application of design patterns
- Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment with scripting languages (e.g., bash, Python)
- Experience with code optimization for real time systems
- Experience with Agile principles, CI/CD methodologies and Agile configuration management tools (Git, JIRA, Confluence)
- Experience working in a team environment

- Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
- Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $57,800 - $110,800. Salary is a general guideline and may be adjusted based on factors such as responsibilities, experience, and market conditions.
