What Youll Be Doing (position summary):
The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for the detailed technical design, development, and implementation of applications on the ServiceNow platform. This role transforms business requirements into technical solutions, designs, codes, and tests programs, and plays a key part in database management and application support. The incumbent exercises considerable judgment and autonomy, conducting impact analysis and providing technical feedback and recommendations, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and information security standards.

How Youll Succeed (responsibilities):
Application Development:
- Design, develop, code, and test end-to-end application solutions using the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM, SecOps, and FSO modules.
- Develop custom applications using ServiceNow AppEngine and integrate APIs as required.
- Review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including coding, testing, and debugging.
Systems Implementation & Integration:
- Participate in and conduct technical design, development, and integration of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.
- Support the development and implementation of database management solutions, including Oracle, MS SQL, and Postgres.
Troubleshooting & Technical Support:
- Work closely with business and technology partners to address business and client impact issues.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and information security standards and policies in all aspects of application management.
- Provide technical guidance on the business implications of application development projects.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with technical team members, clients, vendors, and peers.
- Lead discussions, ask the right questions, and ensure problems/issues are identified and resolved.
- Communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
- Collaborates with peers within and outside the work unit to identify, discuss, and resolve business and technical issues related to application development and support.
- Interacts regularly with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors to define and deliver solutions.
- Works closely with Fraud/Fusion Line of Business (LOB) to ensure alignment with business needs and priorities.

- As a key contributor to the business unit, this job has the authority to recommend changes to business processes in order to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
JOB DIMENSIONS:
- Supports multiple business lines and application areas, including Fraud/Fusion LOB.
- Works with diverse technology platforms and cross-functional teams.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Education: Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related technical disciplines.
Experience: 4-5 years as an Application Developer/Support and Integration Specialist, with hands-on ServiceNow development experience in ITSM, SecOps, or FSO modules.
Technical Skills:
- ServiceNow development, AppEngine, and API integration.
- Database management: Oracle, MS SQL, Postgres.
- Application production support, logical thinking, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with microservices, Java/Golang, application containerization (nice to have).
- DevOps tools: GitHub, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, JFrog, JIRA, Confluence (nice to have).
