Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling tasks, including setup of models, guiding the team during a modeling effort, and reviewing modeling work prepared by others.
- Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, I&C, structural, and CAD disciplines to produce plans and specifications.
- Consistently manage and deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Mentor and manage staff; provide technical leadership.
- Participate in local professional organizations and present market‑specific papers and presentations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
- Experience with 1‑D and 2‑D hydraulic/hydrologic modeling software (HEC RAS, PCSWMM, HydroCAD, etc.).
- Broad knowledge of water resources engineering analysis and design.
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
- Excellent technical writing and team leadership skills.
- Experience with AutoDesk Civil 3D and/or Bentley MicroStation.
- Experience in site grading design, surface runoff management, detention design, conveyance.
Approach to Flexibility
Hybrid schedule: two days a week in the office, two days remotely, Friday flexible. Eligible roles may also offer a compressed 9/80 work schedule.
