About the Role

The Manager - Structures will oversee the structural engineering team, ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Provide technical direction on complex structural issues and validate design approaches and solutions. Intervene in critical design challenges and ensure timely resolution aligned with best practicesConduct periodic design reviews and audits to maintain consistency, quality, and compliance across projects.Responsible for department resource training & management.

Lead and manage the structural engineering team.Develop and implement project plans and schedules.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Collaborate with other departments to ensure project success.Review and approve design calculations and drawings.

SKILLSStrong expertise in structural engineering principles, structural analysis, and design validation In-depth knowledge of ETABS, SAFE, and other structural analysis software Strong understanding of reinforced concrete, steel structures, and foundation systems Excellent technical review and problem-solving capabilities Strong mentoring and leadership skills Effective communication and stakeholder management across India-UAE teams Sound understanding of quality assurance and governance processes

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS

Seminar / Training Topics AI in Structural Design & innovations, High-rise structural stability & drift control, Seismic & wind-based design (ETABS advanced), Slab optimization & foundation design (SAFE) , Project & Design Management, Code Compliance & Standards Committee, etc.

Quality, Governance & ReviewTechnical audit & design review processes Risk identification in structural systems

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCEMaster's degree in Structural Engineering (mandatory) 18+ years of structural engineering experience Preference for candidates with prior managerial or leadership roles Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior-level position Strong understanding of authority submission procedures and internal approval workflows Experience in high-rise and mixed-use residential projects within an internal delivery setup Exposure to international consultants Expertise in advanced structural design methodologies

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
