A well-established and reputable building contractor is currently recruiting for a Senior Site Manager / Project Manager for an exciting project based in Co. Clare. Project Overview
Located in the heart of County Clare on Ireland's west coast, this five-star hotel is one of the country's most iconic and historic destinations.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality construction within a heritage setting, combining modern building standards with the care and attention required when working in a historically significant location.

- Job Type: Full-time / Permanent
- Reports To: Contracts Director
- Minimum Experience: 10 years Role and Responsibilities
- Supervision of construction on site
- Management of all day-to-day onsite activity
- Maintaining site diary, including manpower levels and detailed activity records
- Supporting the Project Manager to deliver projects on time, within budget and to the highest quality
- Managing and motivating site teams
- Ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards
- Implementation of Safety and Quality Management Systems
- Identifying improvements to increase efficiency without compromising safety or quality
- Working to an agreed programme and planning ahead to avoid delays
- Managing cost control and financial administration of construction works
- Requisitioning materials to correct specification and within required timelines
- Attending meetings to ensure clear communication across all stakeholders
- Organising daily whiteboard meetings
Duties may vary and are not limited to the above.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar role within construction
- Relevant qualification in Construction Management or equivalent
- Proactive and motivated approach to work
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven track record delivering projects from inception to completion
- Strong organisational, problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Solid understanding of construction processes, standards and regulations
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build strong working relationships
