Why this role exists:
The Integration Developer designs and builds secure, reliable, and reusable SAP integrations and APIs to support enterprise process automation. This role solves the problem of disconnected systems by ensuring seamless data flow across the enterprise. This role acts as a technical specialist with accountability for interface reliability, directly enabling the high-performance connectivity required for business activities.

In this role you will:
Integration Engineering & API Development:
- Build and maintain secure interfaces and APIs using the SAP Integration Suite.
- Design reusable integration patterns that support enterprise process automation.
- Monitor integration services day-to-day to ensure continuous connectivity and performance.
- Solve complex technical and integration issues to maintain system stability.
- Achieve key performance indicators aligned to the overall technology strategy and strategic objectives.
Governance, Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure all requirements and documentation comply with established governance and security standards.
- Maintain documentation and vendor engagement in compliance with applicable laws and policies.
- Identify and report site hazards or incidents to ensure timely corrective action is taken.
Technical Accountability & Performance:
- Demonstrate full accountability for interface reliability and integration monitoring.
- Rapidly resolve failures to minimise integration downtime.
- Maintain comprehensive API documentation to support enterprise standards.
Who you will be working with:
- Internal Delivery Teams: SAP BTP Administrator, SAP Developers, and SAP BTP Developers.
- Internal Partners: Developers, SAP Security, SAP BASIS, and Functional Analysts.
- External Partners: SAP and Integration Vendors.
What success looks like:
- Connectivity Excellence: Achieving an Interface Success Rate 99.5%.
- Operational Responsiveness: Maintaining an MTTR for integration failures of 1 hour.
- Documentation Standards: Ensuring 100% API Documentation Coverage.
- Release Quality: Minimal integration failures and high-quality functional delivery

Qualifications and work experience:
Essential:
- Education: Degree in I.T., Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of SAP integration experience.
- Specialist Skills: Expert knowledge in API development and troubleshooting.
- Attributes: Strong analytical thinking and collaborative mindset.
- Technology Proficiency: SAP Integration Suite, SAP BTP, API Management, Event Mesh, and CI/CD Toolchains.
