Senior SAP FICO Consultant

Infosys is seeking a Senior SAP FICO Consultant.

Key responsibilities include:

• Discovering and defining the problem statement, evaluating solution options, and making recommendations.
• Creating detailed design, architecture, and process artifacts.
• Implementing deployment plan.
• Supporting knowledge transfer to provide value‑adding consulting solutions.
• Assisting with functional specifications for enhancements and UAT coordination.
• Providing AMS support (L2/L3) for SAP Finance & AFS.
• Participating in incident, problem, and change management.
• Conducting integration testing with MM, SD, AFS, and external systems.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution (or 3 years of progressive experience in lieu).
• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
• Located within commuting distance of Greensboro, NC or willing to relocate.
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP Finance: Financial Accounting (FI) – GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting; Controlling (CO) – Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders; New GL, Parallel Accounting, Document Splitting; Tax configuration (GST/VAT/Sales Tax); Month‑end & year‑end close support; Financial reporting & reconciliations.
• SAP AFS (Apparel and Footwear Solution): Integration of SAP FI with AFS processes; Sales Order processing with AFS characteristics; Season/Grid/Size/Color impact on finance postings; Revenue recognition in apparel/fashion scenarios; AFS pricing, rebates, and credit management impact on FI.
• Support & Enhancements: AMS support (L2/L3) for SAP Finance & AFS; incident, problem, and change management; functional specifications; UAT coordination; integration testing with MM, SD, AFS, and external systems.

The role may entail extensive travel and requires sitting/working at a computer for extended periods. Candidates must communicate effectively by telephone, email, and face‑to‑face.
