By joining the Technology team in the GCC you will play a direct role in Officeworks’ global digital transformation, contributing to world-class SAP and Salesforce capabilities that sit at the heart of how the business operates and grows. The GCC will support Officeworks’ purpose of helping to bring big ideas to life at low prices, ensuring technology remains a true enabler of customer value and operational excellence.

This opportunity to join as a founding member of the new global hub is a chance to be part of the original build-out of our GCC. Early joiners will influence how the hub operates and help shape the future state of some of Officeworks’ core technology ecosystem.

The Senior Salesforce Functional Analyst translates business needs into functional Salesforce solutions. This senior role ensures that delivered capabilities align with business processes, compliance requirements, and platform standards. By bridging the gap between business requirements and technical execution, the role ensures high-quality functional design and supports business readiness for enterprise-scale platform changes.

In this role you will:

Functional Design & Requirements:

• Lead requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design for complex business needs.
• Develop detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications to guide development.
• Maintain the product backlog and comprehensive functional documentation.
• Translate business requirements into effective system-ready functional solutions.

Business Readiness & Execution:

• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and secure business sign-off for new capabilities.
• Support change management and training activities to ensure successful platform adoption.
• Engage with senior stakeholders across Sales, Service, Finance, and Operations.
• Support releases and ensure the business is prepared for new capabilities.

Governance & Compliance:

• Ensure requirements and documentation comply with governance, security standards, and applicable laws.
• Achieve key performance indicators related to requirement accuracy, cycle times, and process coverage.
• Proactively manage safety issues and contribute to a safe working environment.

Who you will be working with:

• Internal Leadership: Salesforce Platform Owner and Business Leaders.
• Internal Technical Teams: Solution Architects, Developers, Quality Analysts, Security, and Integration Teams.
• Business Stakeholders: Partners in Sales, Service, Finance, and Operations.
• External Partners: System Integrators and Salesforce Technical Teams.

What success looks like:

• Requirement Quality: Achieving a first-pass acceptance rate for requirements of >90%.
• Delivery Excellence: Maintaining a UAT pass rate >95% and delivery timeliness >90%.
• Platform Quality: Ensuring configuration defect rates remain 5 per release.
• Adoption & Satisfaction: Driving change adoption rates >98% and stakeholder satisfaction >85%.
• Operational Integrity: Maintaining 0 high-risk findings related to compliance controls and SoD.

Qualifications and work experience:

Essential:

• Education: Degree in I.T. or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of Salesforce functional delivery experience.
• Mandatory Expertise: Proven experience with Salesforce Sales, Service, Marketing Clouds, Revenue Cloud, and Order Management.
• Specialist Skills: Expertise in business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and test coordination.
• Technology Proficiency: Salesforce Clouds, Test Management Tools, LeanIX, Signavio, Jira, Confluence, and CI/CD Toolchains.

Preferred:

• Field Service: Experience with Salesforce Field Service is highly regarded.
