Senior Network & Security Engineer (12+ Years) Technologies: Fortinet | Cisco | Meraki Location: Mumbai,India Experience: 12+ Years Role: L3 / L4 Support Role Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network & Security Engineer with extensive hands-on expertise in Fortinet, Cisco, and Meraki technologies . The role involves designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise network and security solutions , handling critical incidents, SD-WAN transformations , and ensuring high availability, performance, and security across the infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Network & Security Operations Provide L3/L4 support for complex network and security incidents Perform advanced troubleshooting for LAN, WAN, wireless, and security issues Lead major incident management (MIM) and ensure timely resolution Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and preventive actions Design & Implementation Design and implement enterprise network architectures Deploy and manage SD-WAN solutions (Fortinet / Meraki) Configure high availability (HA), redundancy, and failover mechanisms Support network transformation and modernization initiatives Firewall & Security Management Manage firewall rule lifecycle (creation, review, optimization) Configure and maintain: IPS/IDS policies NAT rules Threat protection policies Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards VPN & Connectivity Configure and troubleshoot: Site-to-Site VPN (IPSec) Remote Access VPN / SSL VPN Optimize connectivity across global locations Wireless & Campus Networks Support Cisco and Meraki wireless solutions (MR / WLC) Perform wireless optimization, RF tuning, and troubleshooting Change & Governance Handle change management activities (CAB, risk assessment) Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and architecture diagrams Ensure adherence to ITIL processes Mentorship & Leadership Mentor and guide L1/L2 engineers Act as technical SME for network/security escalations Work closely with architects, vendors, and stakeholders
