Senior Internal Auditor

Audit & Risk Recruitment are partnering with a highly diversified group who have interests across multiple sectors and industries as they look to hire a Senior Internal Auditor to join their Group Audit function. The business itself is interesting and varied with operations across Europe, the US, Africa and South East Asia and will see you travelling for up to 30% of the time. Based in London you will be part of the wider team and reporting into the Group Senior Internal Audit Manager whilst executing audits in line with the approved audit methodology. As the successful candidate you will own the audit lifecycle of planning, fieldwork, reporting and following up on recommendations. Produce quality audit findings that mitigate risks and add value to the control environment and processes. Play a key role in contributing to audit committee papers/presentations and have the opportunity to work on special projects outside of the audit plan as and when required. To be considered you need to be comfortable with the internal audit process, and have some demonstrable experience of both financial and operational audits. You are likely to be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA), and have worked in either a complex in-house environment or in a risk advisory team in a Top 10/Big 4 accountancy firm. The team work on a hybrid model and are currently in the London office 3 times a week.
