Job Overview Job Title: Senior Cyber Security Specialist – Threat Intelligence Lab Salary: £72,702 - £80,780 Location: Edinburgh, Bristol, Manchester Hours: Full Time (35 hours) Working Pattern: Hybrid – at least two days per week at one of our office sites. What You’ll Be Doing Turn complex cyber threat intelligence into clear, actionable decisions using data, tooling and advanced analytics to stay ahead of evolving threats. Lead the transformation of threat intelligence gathering, enrichment and analysis, employing modern CTI tooling and graph‑based models to connect, enrich and contextualise complex datasets.
Convert multi‑source threat data into high‑quality, decision‑focused intelligence that supports risk management, incident response and strategic security outcomes. Work closely with cyber, technology and business partners to ensure intelligence outputs are trusted, embedded and actively used to inform decisions. Identify and analyse threats targeting suppliers and third parties, strengthening the organisation’s ability to detect, assess and respond to supply chain risk.
Drive continuous improvement in CTI tooling, processes and tradecraft, exploring automation, data integration and advanced analytics to improve intelligence quality, speed and impact while providing technical and people leadership. Qualifications Strong Cyber Threat Intelligence experience, including threat actor analysis, campaign tracking and producing decision‑focused intelligence outputs. Deep technical expertise in CTI tooling and platforms, with hands‑on experience enhancing tooling, integrating data sources and improving intelligence workflows.
Experience with graph‑based data models or threat intelligence graphs to connect, enrich and analyse complex threat data. Ability to translate complex technical intelligence into clear, actionable insight for technical and non‑technical audiences. Good understanding of supply chain and third‑party risk, and how CTI can identify and assess threats targeting suppliers and ecosystems.
Proven ability to drive improvements in CTI processes and data quality, focusing on impact, scalability and efficiency. Strong collaboration and leadership skills, including line management and the ability to influence partners and embed intelligence into risk‑based decision making. Forward‑thinking attitude with interest in automation, analytics and modern data approaches to enhance cyber security outcomes.
