Senior AWS QuickSight BI Developer (Tableau)

AWS Quick Sight Dashboard Specialist Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (2-3 Days WFO) Only 10+ years experienced candidates required. Key Skills and Experience 3-5 years of Tableau experience. 7-9 years of QuickSight experience. Experience with AWS services and Data Portal (advantageous). Strong Python, SQL, Spark/PySpark, and data pipeline engineering experience. Hands‑on experience with AWS data services and cloud‑based data platforms. Ability to support Tableau consumption: data connections, extracts/live queries, performance tuning, access/security, and troubleshooting dashboard data issues. Experience building governed, production‑grade data products with metadata, lineage, data quality checks, access controls, and SLAs. Strong data modelling skills: standardization, normalization, reusable data structures, and business‑friendly data design. Experience partnering with product owners, data stewards, business SMEs, and technology teams.

Production mindset: testing, monitoring, documentation, incident support, and operational handover. Preference for candidates with financial services or investment data experience and prior experience supporting governed data products consumed through BI tools like Tableau.
