Job Title: Senior Associate - Accounts Payable (CA Qualified)Location: Bangalore Company: Big 4 (Confidential)Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) to join as a Senior Associate in the Accounts Payable (AP) function. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in managing end-to-end AP processes along with hands-on experience in audit and compliance. This role requires a strong understanding of financial controls, vendor management, and process improvements within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable (End-to-End):Manage the complete AP cycle including invoice processing, vendor onboarding, payments, and reconciliationsEnsure accuracy and timeliness in invoice booking and payment processingHandle vendor queries and maintain strong stakeholder relationshipsMonitor aging reports and ensure timely resolution of outstanding itemsDrive process improvements and automation initiatives in APAudit & Compliance:Support internal and external audits related to AP processesEnsure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirementsIdentify control gaps and recommend corrective actionsMaintain proper documentation and audit trails for all transactionsFinancial Controls & Reporting:Ensure adherence to internal controls and SOX/compliance frameworks (if applicable)Assist in month-end closing activities related to APPrepare reports, reconciliations, and MIS as required by managementQualifications & SkillsQualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) - MandatoryExperience: 3 +years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable and auditStrong understanding of end-to-end AP processesPrior experience in audit (internal/external) is essentialKnowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or similar) preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentPreferred AttributesExperience working in a Big 4 or similar professional services firmExposure to process transformation or automation initiativesStrong attention to detail and organizational skills
