Job Description
Senior Analytics Engineer - UK We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our UK Engineering team. You will collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and Software Engineers to design, build, and maintain analytical data models within our data warehouse. Reporting to an Engineering Manager, you will be a key contributor as we develop Immersive One platform, shaping future products across our entire system landscape.
Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain high‑quality datasets for engineering and reporting. Collaborate with engineers to assess and mitigate the impact of upstream product changes. Apply domain knowledge to develop semantic layers for business intelligence.
Develop data models optimized for efficient querying over large datasets, especially for reports embedded within the main platform. Lead initiatives on data quality, observability, and model optimisation. Qualifications Proficient in transforming, testing, and documenting data while maintaining robust data lineage.
Knowledgeable in data modelling, access, and storage techniques. Experience following software‑engineering best practices such as version control and continuous integration. Strong proficiency using SQL in cloud data warehouses (Snowflake), comfortable with performance optimisation, data partitioning, and window functions.
Ability to operate effectively and autonomously across multiple teams in ambiguous situations. Experience with dbt for data transformation layer. Experience with BI tooling such as Power BI or Looker.
