A Day in the Life: The Senior Air Quality Project Manager position is based in South Louisiana , but the role can also be performed remotely if the candidate has experience working in or with Louisiana . The primary responsibilities include managing project tasks, scoping, budgeting for proposals , and effectively communicating with clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget . Key Responsibilities: Project Scoping and Budgeting: Develop project scopes and budgets for various air quality projects .
Project Management: Lead and complete projects accurately and on schedule to meet client requirements. Quality Control: Produce high-quality work products and conduct quality control reviews of both your own work and that of team members. Effective Communication: Clearly communicate with the internal project team and external clients to provide updates and resolve issues.
Relationship Building: Establish and maintain professional relationships with project team members and clients, ensuring trust and collaboration. Business Development: Actively promote Spirit externally to grow services and revenue by marketing capabilities to potential clients. Mentorship and Growth: Continue to learn and grow professionally while also mentoring and training other project team members .
Your Expertise and Skills: We are a dynamic and entrepreneurial consulting firm seeking team members with technical excellence, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills . Successful candidates will possess the following: Core Skills: Expertise in Clean Air Act, MACT, BACT, RACT, NSPS, and GHG regulations . In-depth knowledge of Louisiana’s state-level air quality regulations .
Proficiency in emission calculations and familiarity with associated methods and systems for state and federal air permitting . Experience with emission inventory development across multiple states. Skilled in air quality permitting , including minor and major source permitting .
Ability to train internal project team members on air quality processes and regulations. Experience with state-level air quality regulations in the Gulf Coast Region (Texas, Mississippi, Alabama) is considered an advantage. #J-18808-Ljbffr
