The program aims to create individuals with brilliant intellects, compassionate hearts, and competent hands who can contribute meaningfully to society.Job Type:Full-TimeJob Summary:Sri Sathya Sai Loka Seva Gurukulam Group of Institutions is seeking a qualified and compassionate School Counselor / School Psychologist to support the emotional, behavioral, social, and academic development of students. The role involves providing individual and group counseling, conducting psychological assessments, crisis intervention, and collaborating with teachers and parents to foster holistic student well-being aligned with value-based education.This role involves being responsible for four to five residential school campuses situated within a cluster. The candidate will be required to travel to these institutional campuses on a regular basis. Past work experience of working as a school counselor/psychologist is highly desirable.Key Responsibilities:Visit campuses within the allocated cluster on a regular basisProvide individual and group counseling for students Conduct psychological assessments (learning, behavioral, emotional concerns)Identify students requiring early intervention and supportDevelop and implement Individualized Support Plans (ISP)Provide career guidance and academic counselingConduct life skills and socio-emotional learning sessionsOffer crisis intervention and conflict resolution support to studentsOrganize workshops on mental health, stress management, and well-beingOffer mental health literacy training to teachers and studentsTo provide training to teachers on the identification and management of children with behavioural issues and academic difficultiesCollaborate with teachers, special educators, and administratorsConduct parent meetings and provide psychoeducationMaintain confidential student records and documentationParticipate in multidisciplinary case discussionsRequired Qualifications:Master's Degree in Psychology / Counseling Psychology / Clinical PsychologyMinimum 2 years of experience working with children and adolescentsSkills & Competencies:Strong assessment and counseling skillsKnowledge of child and adolescent developmentAbility to handle crisis situations calmlyEthical practice and confidentiality adherenceAbility to work within a multidisciplinary team Personal Attributes Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsMust be fluent in English, Kannada, Telugu Ability to work on own initiative Passionate to work with childrenEmpathy, resilience, and ability to work in emotionally demanding settingsReliable, Enthusiastic, Punctual and Self-motivatedAbility to identity and work within one's limitation; seek support as and when required Other Requirements Flexibility to travel across different sites (Mandatory)Enthusiastic and willingness to engage in supervision, continuous personal and professional development, training, and service development activities
