This job posting is for a current vacancy with our client. Our client, a global technology organization, is looking to hire a highly organized and proactive Sales Support Specialist to support the continued growth of their Public Sector business across Canada. This position plays a critical role in supporting Business Development Managers across multiple regions, ensuring smooth execution of quotes, orders, CRM management, bid support, and cross-functional coordination.
The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys problem-solving, and can effectively manage multiple priorities while supporting a high-performing sales team. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day operational support to Public Sector Business Development Managers across Canada Manage quotes, pricing requests, bids, proposals, and customer documentation Process and coordinate customer orders while ensuring accuracy and timely execution Maintain and update opportunities, customer records, and pipeline activity within CRM systems Collaborate with Finance, Product Management, Logistics, Marketing, and Customer Operations teams Follow up on order-related inquiries, escalations, and customer requests Support sales reporting and administrative activities as required Ensure a high degree of accuracy when handling pricing, SKUs, contracts, and order details Assist with public sector procurement processes and institutional customer requirements What They're Looking For 3+ years of Sales Support, Sales Operations, Order Management, or Sales Coordination experience Experience supporting multiple sales representatives or business development professionals Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) Intermediate Excel skills including reporting, Pivot Tables, and data management Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to think critically, solve problems, and work independently Bilingual French/English is considered a strong asset Preferred Backgrounds Technology, IT hardware, distribution, channel sales, or reseller environments Experience supporting Public Sector, Education, Healthcare, Government, or Institutional sales teams Familiarity with vendor, distributor, reseller, or channel-based sales models Non-Negotiables Sales Support or Order Management experience Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Experience managing multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously High attention to detail and accuracy CRM proficiency and strong administrative capabilities Ability to work onsite in a hybrid environment Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills Our specialized recruiting professionals apply their expertise and utilize our proprietary AI to find you great job matches faster.
