Position Overview
We are seeking a driven Sales Executive specializing in Investment Management Sales to grow relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and financial intermediaries.
The role focuses on promoting our capital management and investment solutions, meeting revenue targets, and acting as a trusted advisor. The ideal candidate combines a consultative sales approach with deep product knowledge and regulatory awareness (Series 65 preferred).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a targeted sales plan to acquire and retain high-net-worth and institutional clients, meeting or exceeding revenue and AUM growth targets.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with HNW individuals, family offices, wealth advisors, and intermediaries through regular client meetings, calls, and events.
- Present investment strategies, capital management solutions, and performance reports to prospects and clients in clear, compelling ways tailored to client objectives and risk profiles.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers, product specialists, and operations teams to design customized investment solutions and ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery.
- Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, prospect qualification, proposal development, negotiations, closing, and post-sale client service.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, including accurate documentation and disclosures; maintain Series 65 or equivalent registration as required.
- Represent the firm at industry conferences, seminars, and client events to strengthen brand presence and generate leads.
- Track sales activity and pipeline in the CRM, prepare sales forecasts and regular reporting for senior management.
- Provide market feedback to product and capital management teams to inform product development and positioning.
- Mentor junior sales team members and contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes and materials.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or professional designation (CFA, CFP) is a plus.
- 5+ years of proven sales experience in investment management, capital management, or wealth management, preferably working with high-net-worth clients and family offices.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing assets under management.
- Series 65 registration preferred; acceptable alternative registrations or ability to obtain required licenses quickly.
- Strong knowledge of investment products, portfolio construction, risk management, and capital management solutions.
- Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate complex investment concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and sales analytics tools; ability to produce clear sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
- High level of integrity and commitment to compliance, confidentiality, and fiduciary responsibilities.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events; valid drivers license.
