Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Description:Pay Range: $130hr - $150hrSiemens Financial Services (SFS), the financing division of Siemens AG, is launching a new Venture Debt product offering.We are seeking a seasoned credit professional to join as a founding team member, playing a pivotal role in the growth and success of this strategic business unit.This role involves evaluating and managing Venture Debt investments for high-potential, growth-stage companies, leveraging Siemens AG's technological expertise.Responsibilities:Proactively identify and evaluate investment opportunities aligned with business strategy.Conduct comprehensive due diligence, including financial analysis, market research, and competitive assessment.Assess risks and opportunities of prospective investments.Lead the investment process from initial screening through transaction execution.Prepare detailed investment memos, presentations, and financial models for investment committee review.Structure and negotiate investment terms in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.Develop investment rationale and present credit approval requests.Monitor and manage portfolio companies, providing strategic guidance and operational support.Track performance metrics, identify growth drivers, and implement value creation initiatives.Facilitate interactions with external stakeholders and maintain communication with internal teams.Stay current on industry trends, market developments, and emerging technologies.Build relationships with entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and co-investors to enhance deal flow.Represent the organization at industry conferences and networking events.Collaborate with senior team members on strategy and mentor junior team members.Ensure compliance with internal reporting requirements.Experience:Proven experience in venture debt or a related field with demonstrated success in executing investments.Direct experience underwriting Venture Debt transactions is highly desirable.A strong network within Venture Debt or Venture Capital communities is preferred.Skills:Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Strategic thinking with understanding of technology, innovation, and market dynamics.Willingness to travel.Qualification And Education:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.MBA or equivalent preferred.
