Job Description
We are seeking a Manager - Revenue Assurance to support and scale the revenue assurance function for a Series A AI / Agentic platform SaaS company. This role will ensure accurate revenue recognition under US GAAP (ASC 606) across usage-based, subscription, and platform revenue models.This position is ideal for someone who thrives in high-growth, ambiguous environments and can build scalable processes to support growth from $10M to $50M ARR while preparing for future public company readiness.

Key Responsibilities1. Revenue Recognition (ASC 606) Apply ASC 606 to complex SaaS arrangementsReview customer contracts for revenue implicationsSupport accounting for Subscription revenue, Usage-based revenue, multi-element arrangements, Implementation / professional services, Contract modifications & Variable considerationReview and interpret client contracts to determine revenue recognition treatmentEnsure compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS 115 / IFRS 15/ ASC 606Draft technical accounting memos
- Usage-Based / AI Platform Revenue AssuranceValidate usage-based revenue modelsWork with Product & Engineering teams on:Usage data pipelinesMetering systemsBilling triggersEnsure completeness and accuracy of usage dataBuild controls around data-driven revenue
- Billing & InvoicingSupervise billing cycles to ensure accuracy and timelinessAlign billing milestones with contractual terms and delivery outputsResolve discrepancies between contracts, delivery, and invoicing
- Collections & Working Capital ManagementLead collections strategy and execution to optimize cash flowMonitor aging, drive reduction in DSO, and improve cash conversion cycleEngage with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve payment disputes
- Global Revenue Operations Support revenue accounting across US, UK and IndiaOversee accurate and timely revenue recognition across all businessesFinalize monthly revenue accruals, deferrals, and adjustmentsEnsure proper cut-off, matching, and completeness of revenueDrive automation and standardization in revenue accounting processesAssist in multi-entity revenue, Intercompany revenue & multi-currency accountingEnsuring Cross-functional Collaboration partnering with Sales, Legal, Product, Engineering, Finance, FP&A & Tax teams
- Systems & AutomationSupport implementation and optimization of ERP systems, Billing platforms & Revenue automation toolsAutomate Deferred revenue, Revenue schedules & Usage ingestion
- Reporting & AnalyticsMonthly revenue close, Deferred revenue roll forward, ARR / MRR validationRevenue analytics including Development of dashboards for revenue tracking, leakage analysis, and forecastingProviding insights on revenue trends, risks, and opportunities to leadershipSupport to FP&A with revenue forecasts and variance analysis
