Job Description
This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is the employer and is responsible for all employment matters.
Responsibilities
Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience at every visit. Some managers also lead departments. Their responsibilities may include managing assigned systems, such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management; setting goals; delegating tasks to their teams; following up; and reporting results to their team and other managers.
The Guest Service Department Manager ensures that crew and managers deliver a great customer experience, that sales promotions are executed well, that all service staff are trained in service procedures, and that the Front Counter McCafé and Drive‑Thru areas are organized for the best service.
The Kitchen Department Manager ensures the restaurant delivers high‑quality food quickly, that food is always safe, food cost is controlled, and all kitchen staff are trained in production procedures, including new menu items.
The People Department Manager ensures the restaurant hires qualified crew, trains them well, and schedules them to meet sales and profit goals. This manager also ensures crew get a good start at the restaurant and are recognized and motivated throughout their tenure.
Qualifications
Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment. We seek positive team players with flexible schedules who enjoy a fast‑paced environment. Must be 18 years or older.
