Job Description
We are seeking a locum Interventional Radiologist to provide coverage at a leading healthcare facility located in Bismarck, North Dakota. This facility is dedicated to offering high-quality healthcare services and is currently in need of IR general coverage. The role involves working an 8-hour day primarily from 8 AM to 4 PM, with evening call from 4 PM to 8 AM, as well as 24-hour call on weekends.
The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills for various interventional radiology procedures and contribute to our mission of delivering excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic vascular interventions, including angiography, angioplasty, and stenting.
- Execute interventional procedures, such as embolization therapy and central line placements.
- Provide comprehensive care through a variety of interventional techniques, including biopsies and drainage procedures.
- Participate in evening and weekend on-call duties as required.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of procedures and patient interactions.
- Board Certified in Radiology.
- Completion of an Interventional Radiology residency or fellowship.
- Experience with all listed interventional procedures is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Active North Dakota medical license is highly preferred; IMLC is required if the ND license is not active.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
- A clean malpractice record is highly preferred.
