Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Radiologic Technologist / Mammographer for an exciting opportunity in Wrangell, AK.ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnostic radiographic and mammographic imaging proceduresPerform screening and diagnostic mammography, stereotactic breast biopsies, and breast localization proceduresEnsure radiation safety practices and adherence to imaging protocolsConduct quality control and quality assurance activitiesMaintain accurate patient records and imaging documentationAssist with CT and interventional imaging procedures as neededOperate imaging equipment and contrast injectorsSupport sterile technique and assist with invasive imaging proceduresConsult with physicians and radiologists regarding imaging protocols and patient careAdapt imaging techniques for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populationsPerform venipuncture and contrast administration as neededParticipate in continuing education and maintain required CEUsAssist with departmental operations and cross-modality coverageRequirementsCurrent ARRT certification in Radiography requiredBLS certification required within 45 days of hireMinimum 1 year of radiologic imaging experience requiredStrong knowledge of radiographic imaging principles and radiation safetyCompetency in mammography procedures and quality control standardsAbility to work across multiple imaging modalitiesStrong patient care and communication skillsAbility to work in high-stress clinical environmentsAbility to maintain sterile technique and infection control standardsWillingness to participate in call coverage and rotate across imaging modalitiesPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with CT imaging and interventional radiology procedures preferredExperience with multiple imaging modalities including CT, MRI, and Mammography preferredFor more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.About Navitas Healthcare, LLC: It is a Joint Commission Certified / WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
