About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Manager - Finance Operations to drive quality excellence across finance and accounting processes. The role focuses on establishing quality frameworks, monitoring service delivery, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement across finance operations for global clients.
Job SummaryThe Quality Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing quality assurance standards across key finance processes such as Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Record-to-Report (R2R). This role requires strong auditing, process improvement, and stakeholder management skills to ensure accuracy, compliance, and client satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance & GovernanceDevelop, implement, and maintain quality frameworks, SOPs, and audit mechanisms for finance operationsConduct regular quality audits across AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, and reporting processesEnsure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and client-specific quality benchmarksIdentify process gaps, errors, and compliance issues, and drive corrective actions
Process Improvement & ExcellenceAnalyse audit findings and provide actionable insights to improve process efficiency and accuracyLead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and KaizenDrive standardization, automation, and best practices across finance operationsCollaborate with operations teams to reduce errors and improve turnaround times
Stakeholder & Client ManagementWork closely with internal stakeholders, operations teams, and clients to ensure quality expectations are metPresent quality metrics, dashboards, and performance reports to leadership and clientsAct as a quality advisor during client discussions, transitions, and process migrations
Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirementsSupport internal and external audits by providing documentation and insightsIdentify operational risks and implement preventive and corrective controls
Training & Team DevelopmentConduct quality training sessions and knowledge-sharing workshops for operations teamsProvide feedback, coaching, and guidance based on audit resultsDevelop quality scorecards and performance evaluation frameworks
Required Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce (CA / CPA / MBA is an added advantage)8-12 years of experience in Finance & Accounting operationsMinimum 3-5 years of experience in Quality / Audit / Process Excellence rolesStrong exposure to finance processes: AP, AR, GL, R2R, P2P, O2CExperience working in a BPO/KPO or shared services environment
Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of accounting principles and financial controlsExperience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.Advanced Excel skills (data analysis, dashboards, reporting)Familiarity with quality tools and frameworks (Six Sigma, Lean, RCA, FMEA)
Preferred QualificationsSix Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt certificationExperience handling global clients (US/UK/Australia regions preferred)Exposure to automation tools (RPA, Power BI, Tableau)
