Job Description
- Summary of Position: (Brief description of overall responsibilities and function)
Perform a variety of detailed, functional, and/or operational inspection in one or more of the following areas: complex mechanical and/or electrical aircraft systems, components, parts of production, modification, repair/rework, in accordance with company procedures and FAA regulations.
Inspects materials, products and receiving documentation, for conformance to specifications, using Engineering data, specifications, purchase orders, etc. Ensures materials and products are in accordance with established requirements for quality and performance and are not irregular or damaged.

Duties and Responsibilities: | % of Time |
1. | Inspect assemblies, joining of sub-assemblies into major structure, and complete aircraft for correctness of assembly, according to blueprints, drawings, and production and inspection files. Requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, diagrams and technical instructions. | 30 |
2. | Performs Receiving inspection of assemblies, components and parts to determine conformance to Company standards and Purchase Orders. | 30 |
3. | Manage Non-Conformities, Concessions, Vendor-Concessions and other related discrepancies in SAP. | 20 |
4. | Audit of parts inventory assure that inventory is properly maintained. | 20 |
- Qualifications for Position:
A. Education
HS education or equivalent |
B. Experience
Previous related experience in aircraft mechanical, electrical, maintenance, or quality assurance inspection activities |
C. Competencies & Attributes
1. | Measurement tools experience |
2. | Basic Computing skills (email, Word, Excel) |
