Senior QA Automation Engineer
Location: Fort Collins, CO
We're partnering with a growing, technology-driven organization that is investing heavily in modern engineering practices and automation. They are looking to bring on a Senior QA Automation Engineer who is passionate about building quality into products from the ground up and influencing how teams think about testing.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with developers, product managers, and UX teams to deliver high-quality software while driving automation strategy across multiple applications.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own and evolve test automation frameworks that support continuous integration and delivery
- Design and execute automated and manual test cases across web, mobile, and API layers
- Partner with engineers to improve code quality, test coverage, and overall product reliability
- Actively contribute to Agile ceremonies and help shape acceptance criteria and test strategies
- Identify defects, lead triage discussions, and ensure issues are resolved efficiently
- Support performance and scalability testing efforts as needed
- Collaborate across teams to ensure a seamless and consistent user experience
- Mentor junior QA team members and help elevate testing standards across the organization
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in QA with a strong focus on automation
- Hands-on experience with tools like Cucumber (BDD), WebDriverIO, and Appium
- Strong scripting experience with JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience testing APIs using tools such as Postman
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar
- Solid understanding of QA best practices and how to integrate testing throughout the SDLC
- Experience with test management tools such as Zephyr, Xray, or similar
- Exposure to cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or Oracle Cloud
Nice to Have
- Experience with performance or load testing tools like JMeter, K6, or LoadRunner
- Background in mobile testing or omni-channel/digital platforms
- Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional Agile teams
