Position Summary We are currently seeking a Junior Project Scheduler for our Mississauga office. This is an existing vacant position for which we are actively recruiting. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Essential Job Functions Support the development, maintenance, and integration of detailed project schedules for engineering, procurement, and construction activities using Primavera P6.
Assist in organizing and tracking project schedules, activity logic, milestones, and deliverables across multiple work streams. Work with project managers, engineering leads, procurement, and construction teams to gather schedule updates and maintain accurate project information. Help prepare schedule analyses, including progress tracking, variance reporting, and basic look‑ahead planning.
Assist with schedule status updates, including reviewing actual progress, identifying delays, and supporting recovery planning as needed. Prepare regular scheduling reports for internal project team review and client reporting. Support resource tracking and identify basic scheduling conflicts, constraints, or upcoming risks.
Assist with baseline maintenance, schedule version control, and data integrity in accordance with PMO and project requirements. Support communication of schedule status to project stakeholders. Maintain organized scheduling files, reports, and logs to support project controls activities.
Required Qualifications 1–5 years of experience in project scheduling, project controls, or a related project support role. Working knowledge of Primavera P6, including schedule updates, activity maintenance, and basic reporting. Familiarity with project schedules in engineering, construction, or EPC environments preferred.
Exposure to Transmission & Distribution, Renewables, HVDC, Power Generation, or industrial/infrastructure projects is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Controls, or a related field preferred. Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to communicate clearly with team members and support coordination across multiple disciplines. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other common office tools; experience with Microsoft Project is a plus. Ability to work in a fast‑paced team environment and learn scheduling processes quickly.
Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand as required and remain in a stationary position for at least 50% of the workday. Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle, manipulate, or feel objects, including continuous operation of a computer and other standard office equipment such as calculators, copiers, and printers. Work Environment / Environmental Factors The majority of work is performed in a professional office setting.
Periodic travel may be required and could involve limited exposure to extreme temperatures. Travel may include air travel, during which the employee may be required to remain seated for extended periods. The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $110,000. Pay is determined based on education, relevant and demonstrated work experience in the role, skills, geographic location, qualifications, certifications, and other competencies relevant to the needs of the business.
