The studio has established strong expertise in museum design, wayfinding and signage systems as well as contemporary workspace design. Oases Design mainly serves the culture and education sector, offering end-to-end design services from concept through implementation to museums, universities and other public institutions. Role Description The Project Architect at Oases Design will lead the design and coordination of a museum design project including architectural interventions, services integrations, site supervision, vendor coordination as well as client and sub-consultant liaising. They will also coordinate with the exhibition, graphics and signage design team to ensure seamless integration of all aspects of the project on site. This is a contract, on-site role headquartered in Patna, requiring travel to the site and close collaboration with internal design teams, consultants, and clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing design concepts, preparing drawings, models, and presentations, coordinating documentation, and ensuring technical accuracy and code compliance. The Project Architect will oversee submittals, manage project schedules and milestones, and support contractor coordination during construction. The role also involves contributing to design reviews, maintaining quality standards across deliverables, and ensuring that projects align with client objectives, budgets, and timelines.
QualificationsStrong foundation in Architecture, including concept development, spatial planning, detailing, and coordination with structural, MEP, and other consultants.Experience managing project workflows and timelines, with solid Project Management skills for planning, communication, and stakeholder coordination.Familiarity with Submittals processes, including reviewing shop drawings, material samples, and technical documentation to ensure design and specification compliance.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; architectural registration or candidacy is preferred.Proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).Strong visual communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design intent to clients, consultants, and contractors.Ability to work on-site full-time in Patna, collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team, and manage multiple projects or phases concurrently.Prior experience in museum sector or public building design and construction is desirable.
