This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong people leader who thrives in a fast-paced FMCG environment and enjoys driving operational performance, safety, and continuous improvement.As Shift Manager, you will take full responsibility for production performance during your shift, ensuring the team delivers against key operational targets across safety, quality, delivery, cost and performance.Key responsibilities of the Production Shift Manager include:Leading and managing production teams to deliver shift performance targetsMaintaining high health & safety standards and promoting a safe working environmentDriving quality, food safety and GMP standards across all production areasManaging labour and resources to maximise productivity and efficiencyCoaching, developing and mentoring Line Leaders and production associatesLeading shift meetings and ensuring clear communication across departmentsSupporting continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing toolsManaging site operations and communications during night shifts or weekends when requiredSupporting recruitment, training and succession planning within the shift teamWe're keen to speak with candidates who have strong leadership experience within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment, as well as the below skills & experience:Previous experience in a management roleStrong people leadership and team development skillsExperience working in FMCG or food manufacturing is essential for this roleA proven track record of delivering against operational KPIsStrong communication and organisational skillsExperience driving continuous improvement initiativesGood IT skills including Excel and ERP systemsYou will be a motivated and results-driven leader who can work at pace while maintaining high standards across safety, quality and performance.For more details on this role please reach out to Emma Bartholomew at Elevation Recruitment Group directly.
