Production Planner

We are seeking an experienced Production/Demand Planner to be responsible for coordinating production planning activities, ensuring customer demand is accurately reflected in production schedules, and supporting efficient supply chain performance.Working within a fast-paced environment, the role involves analysing forecasts, managing production requirements, identifying risks, and supporting improvements to planning processes while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinating and maintaining accurate production plans aligned with customer demand and operational requirementsReviewing forecasts, identifying risks, and adapting plans to meet changing business needsSupporting demand reviews and providing planning insight to internal and external stakeholdersLeading and contributing to regular planning and production meetingsCommunicating production changes and impacts across relevant teamsMaintaining accurate planning data and supporting effective inventory managementIdentifying stock risks and working collaboratively to improve planning accuracy and efficiencyPartnering with procurement, operations, logistics, and commercial teams to resolve issues and drive improvementsProviding ongoing demand planning support and responding proactively to daily challengesKey Skills & ExperienceDemonstrating experience in demand planning, production planning, supply chain, or a similar roleShowing strong understanding of planning processes and inventory managementPossessing excellent organisation, communication, and stakeholder management skillsDemonstrating strong analytical ability with high attention to detail and accuracyManaging multiple priorities and meeting deadlines effectivelyApplying strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approachDemonstrating good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and planning systemsHaving experience with SAP or similar systems is desirableShowing flexibility when required, including occasional out-of-hours supportThis is an excellent opportunity for a planning professional to play a key role in connecting customer demand, operations, and supply chain activities while supporting improved efficiency and service levels.
