Printed Circuit Board Design Engineer

Job ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop multilayer PCBs for Power electronics, High Speed, High Voltage, High Frequency PCB.Handle complete PCB design lifecycle: schematic capture, PCB layout, Gerber generation, fabrication & assembly support.Perform Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) analysis.Design PCB as per the specs provided by technical team, Maintain and update PCB design documents, Participate in design reviews.Should individually manage PCB layout from schematics creation to Gerber release.Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC standards and implement mitigation techniques.Work on DFM, DFA, DFX and thermal optimization for manufacturability.Create and maintain BOM, fabrication drawings, and assembly drawings.Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and mechanical teams.Perform design reviews and failure analysis suggest improvements.Manage ECO (Engineering Change Order) and version control.Coordinate with PCB vendors and assembly partners.Self-driven, motivated and show high productivity in PCB design & development.Good Understanding of product data management tools-based release and change order process and PCB life cycle processes.Support prototypes bring-up, testing, debugging, and validation.Be pro-active in understanding product/services roadmaps and the implication of new features with peer engineers or self -training.Other responsibilities as assigned.

Key Skills RequiredTools experience in Altium Designer, Allegro, Cadence OrCAD, or PADs.Experience in PCB library creation and management, including component symbols and footprints. Expertise in multilayer PCB (6-12+ layers).Experience in BOM creation.Knowledge of DRC, ERC, and validation processesGood understanding of EMI/EMC design techniques, grounding & shielding.Knowledge of PCB fabrication & assembly process and IPC standards.Experience in SI/PI tools is an advantage.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Good documentation and communication skills.

Minimum Qualification: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification: 4-Year bachelor's degree/4+2 -Year Master's Degree in Electronics & Communication or equivalent.5-7 years of experience outside of university in PCB designing.Use of recognized best practices in Hardware/Firmware/Software development methodologies and processes.Excellent Communication skills with strong English both Written & Spoken.
