Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Inpatient & Outpatient Rehabilitation for an exciting opportunity in Sitka, AK.ResponsibilitiesProvide physical therapy treatments based on PT-established care plansImplement therapeutic interventions and progress patients as directed by a licensed Physical TherapistMonitor patient responses and document treatment outcomes accuratelyAssist with inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services across all age groupsCommunicate patient progress with PTs, nurses, and interdisciplinary teamsEducate patients and families on home exercise programs and mobility techniquesEnsure patient safety during therapy activities and transfersAssist with adaptive equipment fitting including braces, orthotics, splints, and mobility aidsSupport discharge planning and continuity of careMaintain accurate clinical documentation and therapy recordsParticipate in staff meetings, continuing education, and departmental trainingMaintain cleanliness and safety of therapy equipment and treatment areasRequirementsAssociate Degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program requiredCurrent Alaska Physical Therapist Assistant license requiredCurrent BLS certification requiredValid driver’s license requiredMinimum 1 year of PTA experience preferred in acute care or outpatient settingsStrong understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy and biomechanicsExperience with adaptive equipment and mobility trainingStrong communication and documentation skillsAbility to work effectively in inpatient, outpatient, and community-based environmentsStrong problem-solving and patient safety awarenessFor more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.About Navitas Healthcare, LLC: It is a Joint Commission Certified / WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
