We pride ourselves on serving award-winning scones, a delightful selection of loose leaf teas, and a variety of British specialties, all while creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for our guests.

Summary

Working along side our CIA trained Head Pastry Chef, you will be an integral part of our kitchen team, responsible for crafting delectable pastries, scones, and desserts made from scratch that delight our customers. Scone production will be an integral responsibility for this position. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional quality and service in every bite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, scones and desserts according to established recipes.
• Decorate cakes and pastries with creativity and attention to detail.
• Ensure all food production meets quality standards for taste and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
• Follow food safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with catering orders as needed, ensuring timely preparation and delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a pastry cook or similar role in a restaurant, café, or bakery setting.
• Strong baking skills with knowledge of pastry techniques.
• Culinary School graduate, but not a requirement.
• Creativity in cake decorating and presentation.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in catering is a plus but not required.
