Packaging Engineer (Jackson)

Large International Manufacturing company located in Jackson Michigan is looking for a Materials / Packaging Supervisor

JOB DUITES

• Schedule and coordinate all outbound shipments to customers, as well as, intercompany shipments and all material movements between our plant and the corporate office
• Lead and manage packaging related engineering projects supporting manufacturing and logistics operations
• Support materials and operations team to oversee proper functioning of the material movement within the warehouse.
• Own cost saving initiatives, supports new program launches and drive engineering changes and processes streamlining to improve efficiency, quality safety, and cost performance

REQUIRED

• 4+ years’ working in Materials in a plant manufacturing environment
• 1+ year packaging experience
• Experience in material flow, inventory control, shipping and receiving, ERP systems, and customer/ supplier relations
