Oracle Record-to-Report (R2R) Functional Lead (12‑Month Onsite) – Deloitte, Austin, TX
We are seeking an experienced Oracle R2R Functional Lead for a 12‑month onsite engagement at Deloitte’s Austin, TX office. The senior‑level role oversees post‑production support across R2R processes in Oracle Financials Cloud, coordinates L2/L3 support, serves as the escalation point for complex close and accounting issues, and drives operational improvements across the full R2R landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead functional support delivery across all R2R modules: period close, subledger‑to‑GL accounting, reconcilations, and financial reporting (GL, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Lease Management, Oracle Projects, Oracle ARCS, FCCS, EDMCS, EPM/Narrative Reporting).
- Own incident triage and resolution for P1/P2 production issues; drive root‑cause analysis and prevention of recurring issues.
- Coordinate L2/L3 work across functional resources; ensure consistent incident, problem, and change management practices.
- Monitor and support integrations, interfaces, and batch jobs (FBDI, APIs, OIC), including error handling and reprocessing.
- Manage quarterly Oracle Cloud update readiness: impact assessment, regression testing coordination, and production validation.
- Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge articles; provide operational reporting on SLA performance, backlog, and recurring‑issue trends.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of Oracle Financials experience with deep R2R expertise (GL, SLA/accounting flows, close/reporting).
- Proven experience leading Oracle Cloud production support/Operate (L2/L3), including complex cross‑functional incident management.
- Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills: runbooks, SOPs, and RCA.
Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have
- ITIL support processes; familiarity with ServiceNow or Jira.
- OTBI/BI Publisher reporting validation and close reporting reconciliation experience.
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
- Stabilize R2R support and reduce recurring close blockers through RCA and monitoring improvements.
- Stand up or refresh R2R runbooks and establish a structured governance and operational reporting cadence.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute marketing and business development strategies aligned with practice group goals.

- Strong experience in docketing and tracking deadlines for hearings, mediations, and trials.

What You’ll Do
- Own and optimize core GTM systems across CRM, enrichment, sequencing, and automations.
- Maintain clean, accurate pipeline data and strong CRM hygiene.
- Build reporting dashboards for pipeline health, conversion, and outbound effectiveness.
- Partner closely with Sales to surface account insights, prep materials, and improve rep productivity.
- Run growth experiments end‑to‑end (events, partnerships, outbound initiatives) from hypothesis to iteration.
