Obstetrics Nurse Practitioner

Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner - OB/GYN

Join a dynamic healthcare team in Colorado Springs, CO, at a leading medical facility known for its commitment to providing high-quality care. The practice primarily focuses on OB/GYN services, with a weekly schedule of Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, alongside some hospital coverage. • Provide comprehensive care for OB/GYN patients with a focus on low and high-risk pregnancies.
• Perform routine deliveries, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
• Participate in hospital coverage as needed, responding to emergencies and overnight calls.
• Conduct OB ultrasounds and interpret results for appropriate patient care.
• Manage office gynecology procedures such as IUD placements and colposcopies.
• Supervise and collaborate with ancillary staff and other healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patient interactions.

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner in OB/GYN.
• Demonstrated experience in OB/GYN practice, including low-risk and high-risk pregnancy management.
• Strong knowledge of prenatal care and delivery processes.
• Ability to perform and interpret OB ultrasounds.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

• Current Colorado State License (preferred).
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (required).
• NPDB report pulled within 30 days prior to presentation (required).
