Availability RequirementsSchedule

• Outpatient clinic coverage
• Average 18-21 patients per day
• Typical visit lengths:
  • Follow-ups: 15 minutes
  • New patients/procedures: 30 minutes
• Patient population: Adolescents (13+) through Geriatrics

Call Coverage

• Preference for providers willing to provide both clinic coverage and call
• Call is not in-house
• Midwives serve as first call
• Physician called primarily for:
  • High-risk deliveries
  • Cesarean sections
• Laborist group provides coverage while on-call physician is en route
• Outpatient-only providers will also be considered

License & Certification RequirementsRequired

• Active, Unrestricted California Medical License
• Board Certified OB/GYN
• DEA Registration
• BLS or ACLS Certification
• Completion of an Accredited 4-Year OB/GYN Residency Program
• Minimum 2 Years of Experience

Preferred

• Epic EMR Experience

Practice Details

• Outpatient women's health clinic
• Deliveries performed at affiliated hospital
• Full-scope OB/GYN practice preferred
• Credentialing timeframe: 45-60 days

Clinical ResponsibilitiesObstetrics

• Confirmation of pregnancy (>7 weeks) with bedside ultrasound
• Initial OB visits
• Routine prenatal visits
• Postpartum visits
• Incision checks

Gynecology

• Well-woman exams for all ages
• Menopause management
• Hormone replacement therapy
• UTI and STI evaluation/treatment
• Breast pain evaluations
• General gynecologic problem visits

Required Office Procedures

• IUD insertion and removal
• Nexplanon insertion and removal
• Endometrial biopsy (EMB)
• Colposcopy
• LEEP procedures
• Cryotherapy
• Cervical polyp removal
• Incision and drainage of cysts
