About the Role
Monash Imaging seeks Medical Administrative Officers to join the imaging administration network. This role provides high‑level customer service to patients across a variety of settings, including reception duties, phone management, appointment scheduling and support across shift rotations.
Key Responsibilities
- Reception duties: meeting and greeting patients and families.
- Managing the phone system and scheduling appointments for internal and external patients.
- Demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Working as part of a rotational shift roster (day and afternoon shifts).
- Providing efficient and effective administrative support in a busy, team‑based environment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience in radiology or medical administration is an advantage.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to remain calm in a challenging environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize competing tasks.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a broader multidisciplinary team.
- Hardworking, passionate, proactive with a dedicated work ethic.
- Flexible, adaptable, inclusive team member.
- Ability to learn new computer software with ease.
Required Competencies
- Effective time‑management including planning and organisational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy of patient information.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
