Position Description: The Proposal Project Manager (PPM) is accountable for the overall request for proposal (RFP) for all pharmacy products for the sales organization. The PPM manages the RFP from receipt through final submission, ultimately ensuring all components of the proposal are submitted accurately and on-time.
Primary Responsibilities:
Thorough review and understanding of all RFP documents and sales strategy documentsCreate and maintain overall project timelineOwn client-specific data requirements (not repeatable content)Coordinate analysis requestsDisruption requests, GeoAccess, Network Disruptions, Clinical Savings and other analysis requests neededRFP assignments to key players within the RFP process (i.e. PCOA, PGA, PW, pricing, etc.)Coordinate all strategy calls, including internal team callsCompile and distribute meeting notes, clearly identify actionable itemsCommunicate overall project healthEscalate risks to leadershipCross reference non-standards to RFP requirements and deviations documentSubmit for sales review and final strategic reviewComplete project work as assigned accurately and within specified deadlinesComplete project close-outsHandle final consultant and/or customer submissionCoordinate and manage RFP follow-up requestsAdditional responsibilities include:Participate in relevant training opportunities that will enhance both individual performance and overall unit performanceAssist Sales with finalist support as neededComply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). 3+ years of experience writing RFPs; preferably in PBM or HealthcareProven excellent written and verbal communication skillsProven solid technical writing skillProven strategic and Critical thinking skillsProven attention to detailProven self-starter and ability to work independentlyDemonstrated ability to multi-task and keep track of various project piecesPreferred Qualifications:
