Behaviour Mentor (Male) - LondonFull-Time Long-Term Immediate Start£85-£100 per dayWe are working with a number of specialist schools across London who are seeking a confident, empathetic and resilient Male Behaviour Mentor to join their teams immediately.This is a highly rewarding role supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them to regulate behaviour, build positive relationships with adults, and develop strategies to manage their emotions and behaviour more effectively.A sports background is highly desirable for this role, as many students respond positively to structured, active, and team-based approaches that help build trust, discipline and engagement.Key Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 and small group mentoring for students with SEMH and behavioural needsSupport emotional regulation, resilience and positive behaviour choicesUse consistent behaviour strategies including de-escalation and restorative approachesWork closely with teachers, pastoral teams and external agenciesHelp create a safe, structured and supportive learning environmentThe Ideal Candidate:Experience in behaviour support, youth work, mentoring, coaching or educationA background in sports, coaching or physical activity is strongly preferredCalm, confident approach when managing challenging behaviourStrong ability to build rapport with young people who may struggle with trust or authorityUnderstanding of trauma-informed practice and de-escalation strategiesReliable, proactive and committed to supporting vulnerable learnersThis is an excellent opportunity to join supportive specialist settings where staff make a real difference to students' behaviour, confidence and long-term outcomes.
