Job Description
Drive operational excellence by leading our maintenance department. This role focuses on optimizing equipment reliability, facility functionality, and team performance to ensure zero-disruption manufacturing.
Strategic Leadership & Team Management
+ Direct and mentor a team of technicians and supervisors to maximize department productivity.
+ Develop and execute a comprehensive maintenance strategy centered on asset reliability.
+ Establish and track KPIs to measure department effectiveness and efficiency.
Operational Oversight
+ Manage all preventive and corrective maintenance for machinery, tools, and facilities.
+ Oversee asset inventory, including spare parts and critical supplies.
+ Identify and implement process improvements through equipment upgrades and cost-saving initiatives.
+ Maintain rigorous documentation of all repairs, activities, and equipment histories.
Financial & Vendor Management
+ Architect and manage the department budget, ensuring strategic resource allocation.
+ Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to source high-quality materials at optimal costs.
Safety & Compliance
+ Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and internal company policies.
+ Ensure all maintenance activities support a safe, high-functioning work environment.
Qualifications
+ Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.
+ Experience: 6+ years in a maintenance or engineering leadership role, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
+ Technical Skills: Deep troubleshooting expertise and proficiency in Maintenance Management Software (CMMS). Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance.
+ Methodology: Direct exposure to Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles.
+ Financial Acumen: Proven experience in budgeting and financial oversight.
+ Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
