What You ll Do
- Perform clinical support procedures such as blood draws, injections, immunizations, and lab tests within scope of certification
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, including vital signs and patient preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies in exam rooms
- Manage patient communication, including scheduling and instructions as directed by physicians
- Assist with medical records, referrals, and documentation
- Support patient flow and comfort before, during, and after procedures
- Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide quality patient care
What You Need
- Required:
- Valid BLS (AHA) certification
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential or equivalent
- Ability to perform clinical procedures within scope of practice
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Preferred:
- Previous experience in a outpatient or primary care setting
- Comfortable with patient communication and basic medical tasks
