Logistics EHS Manager

Job Purpose - To lead and drive Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) excellence across inbound, inter-plant, port handling, and outbound transportation of wind turbine components (blades, nacelles, hubs, towers, BESS systems), ensuring Zero Harm, statutory compliance, and safe delivery to wind farm project sites.Reporting - Logistics Lead / QEHS Head QualificationBachelor of Engineering or Technology in / Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Logistics. Master's in operations / supply chain PreferredExperience10 -12 years in logistics EHS / supply chain EHSExperience in heavy engineering / wind turbine / large component transportStrong knowledge of Indian highway transport regulationsTechnical SkillsRisk Assessment (HIRA, JSA)Heavy-lift & crane safetyRoute survey & ODC movement knowledgeIncident Investigation toolsISO 14001 & ISO 45001 implementationTelematics & vehicle monitoring systemsKey Deliverables/ Outcomes Formulate the department's EHS annual management goals and monthly EHS main assessment index trackingContinue to improve the department's EHS related management system and processesUpdate and summarize the implementation of the department's safety risk identification and evaluation list and medium and high-risk listCarry out on-site inspections and audits for logistics projectsInternal EHS audits of organizational departments and rectification tracking of non-conforming action itemsPlan and supervise the implementation of KPS inspection and hidden danger investigation by relevant personnel of the departmentPlan the department's EHS annual training plan, and organize and carry out departmental EHS internal empowerment trainingAssist the business team in completing the investigation and root cause analysis of major departmental EHS incidents (SIP and above), as well as the formulation of action items.Planning various EHS special activities of the department (safety month, EHS joint research projects, etc.)Complete the EHS action item closed loop on timeLogistics special scenarios high-risk operations approvalOrganize department QEHS committees, QEHS meetings of logistics companies, and various other EHS thematic meetings
